Andy Ward

I led research into location sensor technology at AT&T Laboratories Cambridge. As part of that effort, I managed the deployment of the Bat indoor positioning system, which was based on my PhD work.

My research interests include:

• Location-aware computing
• RFID systems
• Ultrawideband (UWB) radio systems
• Embedded systems design
• Low-power hardware design
• Distributed system control software
