Nick Hollinghurst -- PhD work

I conducted my PhD research between 1992 and 1997 in the Speech, Vision and Robotics Group, Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge.

My supervisor was Professor Roberto Cipolla.

My PhD dissertation on Uncalibrated Stereo Vision and Hand-Eye Coordination is now on line. I investigated the use of uncalibrated and weakly calibrated stereo to guide a robot manipulator to grasp unmodelled objects. The approach was based on self-calibration using visual feedback, and the detection and tracking of planar features in weak perspective.

Here is a list of my publications.
